Quite liked this, but then again, I liked the original (no, not bothering to link as I reckon most of our readers should know it)

Now, if it only had an iPod dock, I'd buy one in a flash!
Just for the record, in case you're living in a cave (in which case reading Tram Town could be a problem anyhows) -- a founding member of the Jackson 5 and an Angel. Vale(s).

Peter Jackson is going to sturggle to compete with this piece of work on The Hobbit.
Got one of these yesterday, UI is OK, Sound is better than the normal "tranny", I like its look, (at this point in time) it's probably overpriced and, until next week, I can't really get my preferred stations. I'm pretty happy with it but your tuning may vary. (Oh, it also runs on batteries which is sorta cool)

No editoralising here citizen -- I don't have a clue. The '70s were a funny place (Semi and I grew up there, Lucas, G. worked there) and sometimes I get a bit gobsmacked --

Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it, or maybe not!

Last time I looked, Auffers was still using an Apple Newton Message Pad in a (logical) production environment...well, he'd better bloody well look out!
Semi and I did something like this many years back at Strathmore Theatre. One of our foley effects involved a quarter of a 70's Holden car to deliver car door slamming effects -- it sounded very authentic!

I've just watched The Real Jane Austen on iView and enjoyed it immensely. If it wasn't for the problem of age, I'd lay London to a brick that adult Jane was played by DB's younger daughter.
This may well be worth a look -- 6XAA Batts, SD Card, Hmmm!

I'm sure most of our reader knew of her even if they disagreed with her opinions, I'm sure indeed that she was a woman of letters. Vale.
Fingerprints, Fingerprints, , Where are you now my fingerprints?. (Hint: He produced the song)

I think I feel an Emergency comin' on... -- that's sorta cool!

I'm not getting any younger so my children could well invest in this. (Heck...I could probably do with them now)
I quite like baked beans (generally ham flavoured for preference); I use (several) computers; (unless I'm meeting with Semi (which is becoming less frequent due to diary conflicts)) I generally work through lunch break -- this looks an absolute cracker -- your protein may vary.

I've just watched Filth: The Mary Whitehouse Story on iView (it uses way too much bandwidth for you unfortunately, Jack; hope you saw it on free-to-air). It was remarkably sympathetic. I am definitely not sympathetic with everything she represented but I have to be supportive of her demand that the BBC at least acknowledge that viewers are paying for the service and deserve some respect and recognition.
I've just noticed that Whitehouse's nemesis Sir Hugh Greene was the brother of the famous writer and Catholic convert Graham Greene.
The film is well worth a watch. 8.1/10.0
If my memory serves me correctly (and I was never a big fan of the TV Show) Grasshopper has done a Hutchence, (Semi? Have I just done a Chaser?. My favourite Carradine anyway was always Keith.

Hmm, I think any Melbourne citizen who grew up in the 60's/70's came across this personality on telly but for the life of me I can't work out why. Novelty? Penthouse Club? Devine? -- (Hmm, (again), why do I know so much about this stuff?) Vale.
